Unity Q4 2025 Financial Results Breakdown: Vector's Exceptional Growth & Future Outlook (2026)

Unity has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and the full fiscal year 2025, revealing figures that have significantly surpassed expectations. This remarkable achievement was primarily driven by the outstanding performance of Unity’s Vector platform, which is a key component of their offerings.

In detail, Unity's fourth-quarter results showcased a robust revenue increase, rising to $503 million, marking a 10% growth compared to the previous year. Additionally, the company reported an 8% rise in revenue from its Create Solutions segment and an impressive 11% growth in its Grow Solutions segment. Notably, these results come at a time when David Helgason, who is both the founder and former CEO of Unity, has stepped down from the board, effective immediately.

Matt Bromberg, Unity's president and CEO, expressed his satisfaction with these results, stating, "Once again, our fourth-quarter outcomes have comfortably exceeded our high-end projections, largely due to the remarkable performance of Vector, which has now achieved mid-teen sequential revenue growth for three consecutive quarters. This is the best growth we've recorded in our Create Solutions over the last two years."

He further emphasized that with the rapid adoption of Unity 6 and the accelerating growth of Vector, the company's vision of becoming the essential backbone for the future of interactive entertainment is coming into sharper focus.

Here are the key financial figures to note:

  • Total Revenue: $503 million (up 10% year-over-year)
  • Create Solutions Revenue: $165 million (up 8% year-over-year)
  • Grow Solutions Revenue: $338 million (up 11% year-over-year)
  • Net Loss: $89 million (with an 18% margin)

One of the main drivers behind the 8% increase in Create Solutions revenue was attributed to strong growth in subscription-based services. At the same time, the 11% surge in Grow Solutions revenue was fueled by robust quarterly revenue growth from Unity Vector, which accounted for 56% of the total Grow Solutions revenue for the quarter. This growth effectively counterbalanced the decline experienced in the IronSource Ad Network, as IronSource’s founder, Tomer Bar-Zeev, also resigned from the board, effective immediately.

Looking to the future, Unity anticipates revenue for the first quarter of 2026 to be around $485 million, predicting flat growth in the Grow segment but projecting "double-digit year-over-year growth" for its Create segment.

In response to the departures of Helgason and Bar-Zeev, Matt Bromberg remarked, "David and Tomer have been invaluable partners in our journey to develop and transform Unity. They welcomed me into the organization, shared their visionary insights as founders, and have provided unwavering support. I look forward to continuing our dialogue in the future."

Additionally, Bernard Kim, the former president of publishing at Zynga, will join the board starting May 1. Kim commented, "Unity plays a fundamental role in the creation, distribution, and scaling of interactive experiences. I've always respected the company's impact on the industry, and I'm eager to collaborate with the Board and leadership team as Unity advances its mission to democratize game development."

It's worth noting that reports from last December indicated that Unity might implement a new annual fee structure for its largest Enterprise users, requiring a minimum commitment ranging from $250,000 to $2 million, depending on the individual game's revenue. This fee would reportedly contribute towards the costs associated with Unity subscription licenses and support products. Furthermore, the company's website now alerts Enterprise subscribers that "a minimum subscription requirement may apply" to pricing in 2026, and both Pro and Enterprise subscription fees saw a 5% increase last month.
